ANTENNA AND WAVE PROPAGATION:
Design and Analysis of Waves in an Antenna
Definition:
Antenna is the interface between radio waves propagating through space and electric currents moving in metal conductors, used with a transmitter or receiver. An antenna may include parasitic elements, parabolic reflectors or horns, which serve to direct the radio waves into a beam or other desired radiation pattern. By using this, we can implement a real time application Projects.
Uses:
With the Knowledge of Antenna, we can implement a Project for the purpose of Radio broadcast, Navigation systems, Radio transmission and reception, GPS, Satellite communication, Radio frequency identification.
Benefit:
India has a very large telecom network. Obviously the scope of antenna design is huge there. But antenna design is not an easy job. One needs to be much updated with latest research. So generally PhD holders are preferred.
